Microsoft 365 security for Australian businesses

Your email, files and sign-ins sit in one place, which is why attackers go there first. We review how Microsoft 365 is set up and close the gaps.

Why it needs its own review

Microsoft 365 holds your email, files, calendars and sign-ins together, so one phished password can open all of it. Multi-factor authentication makes that much harder, but only where it is switched on for every account that needs it, including the administrator accounts.

Many tenants are set up quickly and then left alone. Settings that made sense on day one drift as people join, leave and share files, so a review is worth doing even when nothing looks wrong.

What we look at

Sign-ins and MFA
Which accounts use multi-factor authentication and which do not, how people sign in, and how administrators sign in.
Administrator access
Who holds administrator roles, whether they still need them and how those accounts are protected.
Email protection
How phishing and spoofing are filtered, and what happens to a suspicious message once it arrives.
External sharing
Guest users, public links and what leaves the business through Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive.
Devices that connect
Which devices can reach company data and whether anyone is managing them.

What you receive

A written list of findings ranked by how much each one matters, with the change needed for each one in plain English. Your own IT provider can carry the changes out, or we can do it as part of managed cyber and IT.

Who it suits

Businesses on Microsoft 365 that have never had the security settings reviewed, businesses that want a second opinion on their current setup, and MSPs who want a security review to offer their clients.
