Vulnerability assessment and cyber risk review
We assess vulnerabilities, external exposure and configuration, then give you a prioritised plan so the most important fixes come first.
What a vulnerability assessment is
A vulnerability assessment looks for known weaknesses and misconfigurations across your devices, software and internet-facing systems, then ranks them by risk. A penetration test is different, because a tester actively tries to break in.
An assessment is the sensible first step. It shows what needs fixing before anyone tries to exploit it.
What we look at
- Vulnerabilities
- Missing updates and known weaknesses in devices and software.
- External exposure
- What can be found from the internet, including open services, exposed logins and information that helps an attacker.
- Configuration
- Settings that leave a door open, in Microsoft 365 and on devices.
What the report looks like
Findings are written for the people who make decisions. Each one says what the issue is, why it matters, how serious it is and what to do about it, in the order you should tackle them. The sample report shows the format using fictional data.
